Introduction to Self-Awareness:

Pillar 1 | Micro Course 2:
Introduction to Self-Awareness
In this micro course, we dive into one of the core skills that supports emotional intelligence, resilience, and meaningful personal growth: self-awareness.
Together, we will explore what self-awareness truly means, not just as a concept, but as an ongoing practice of understanding your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and internal patterns.

We’ll clarify the important distinction between self-awareness and mindfulness, two terms often used interchangeably but rooted in different processes. You’ll learn how each one works, how they complement each other, and how developing both can strengthen your ability to respond rather than react.

This course will also introduce you to key psychological theories on self-awareness, giving you a deeper understanding of how modern psychology explains the way we perceive ourselves.

Concepts like reflective thinking, metacognition, and self-concept will help you build a stronger foundation for personal change.

Throughout the course, you’ll be guided through simple practices that make these ideas practical and accessible, helping you become more conscious, intentional, and aligned in your daily life.

This course is ideal for individuals interested in personal development, aspiring emotional health practitioners, holistic wellness coaches, therapists, and anyone who wishes to deepen their self-awareness and cultivate a more balanced mind-body connection
