Empathy and compassion

Pillar 3 | micro-course 3
Empathy and Compassion

Empathy is the ability to understand and connect with the emotions and perspectives of others, while compassion involves responding to that understanding with care, kindness, and a genuine desire to help.

Together, these skills form the foundation of meaningful relationships, effective communication, and emotional well-being.

In this course, you’ll explore the science and psychology behind empathy and compassion, as well as practical tools to strengthen them. Developing these abilities supports healthier interactions, reduces conflict, and fosters a deeper sense of connection with the people around you.
